State Opening of Parliament

The Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, traveled to the Palace of Westminster to open the Session of Parliament.

Between squeezing this in before The Queen leaves for Sandringham and the fact that they just did another one a couple months ago, today's State Opening was a "dressed down" version like 2017, with a car instead of a carriage and day dress instead of the whole sparkly deal. This State Opening didn't even warrant a new outfit, although Her Maj did repeat the Cullinan brooch she wore to the 2017 opening.
