The Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, marked the 100th anniversary of the Royal Variety Performance with a show at the Royal Albert Hall.
When I saw this sparkly little dress in Angela Kelly's book with the teaser that we might see it on the Queen in the future, I wondered if it might be a showbiz kind of gown!
If you can bring yourself to look past the sparkly gown, we have some serious diamonds - and some are hard to identify. The earrings, it's hard to tell; the necklace is a collet necklace, a slightly longer one. She's also not wearing her standard evening watch; based on the band, it could be her custom Patek Philippe diamond watch. Whatever the real identity of these pieces, this is some serious diamond power.
